Earl Gray began arts training in Seattle, training privately under the Maestro David Kyle for voice, and method acting under David Gilmore at the Moore Theater. Mr. Gray went on to study the Meisner and Adler techniques as well as the Alexander physical technique in Los Angeles at the Stella Adler studio of acting.
He returned to the northwest and was prolific in the Seattle theater scene for over a decade playing various roles in original plays including the lead in “Mad Alex” and a 5 week run of the one man show “One Man Show from Kokomo” at the Annex theater.
In addition to live theater, Earl appeared in commercials for clients such as the Sonics, Mariners, KOMO, and also modeled for JC Penney, Sears, Eddie Bauer and Early Winters. After a hiatus to build two successful businesses, Earl has recently played roles in the short films Whiskers, and Punkin, as well as playing detective Knotts in the feature film Customer 152 and Ash in Beloved Beast.
In addition to acting, Mr. Gray is trained in physics, electronics, computer science, and aerial videography (Part 107 pilot) allowing him to contribute in several technical aspects of film production.
